Safety Net Working Group

The Safety Net Working Group (SNWG) developed this Web site to assist the uninsured and medically underserved members of the Kansas City region find quality health care that meets their needs. 

The SNWG members recognize that finding high quality health care at the right time of the day in a convenient location is often difficult in a city as large as Kansas City. It is complicated by the fact that part of the region is in Kansas and part in Missouri. Each state has different requirements in order to receive health care.

This interactive Web site was developed by members of the SNWG as a first step to assist Kansas Citians find health care close to their homes.

Future enhancements may include more behavioral health services, transportation options and a Spanish version.
